Privacy Policy – Pulse Tracker
At Pulse Tracker, your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of data we collect, how we use it, and the steps we take to protect your information when you use our mobile application and related services. By using Pulse Tracker, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Health Data Handling
Pulse Tracker uses health-related data (such as heart rate and variability metrics) only to provide insights and visualizations within the app.
All health data accessed from Apple Health or measured through the app stays securely on your device at all times.
  • No health data is ever uploaded to external servers.
  • No health data is modified, shared, or sold.
  • When you uninstall the app, all locally stored app data is permanently deleted.
Pulse Tracker functions fully offline and never transfers your health information over the Internet.

2. Device and Usage Information
To improve performance and ensure app stability, Pulse Tracker may process anonymous diagnostic data such as:
  • Device model, OS version, and app version
  • Crash reports and performance metrics
This information is used only to enhance app functionality and detect issues. It does not include personal or health data and cannot identify you.

3. Account and Authentication
Pulse Tracker does not require user registration, cloud accounts, or sign-ins.
All features are accessible directly on your device.
If in the future an optional sign-in (e.g. Sign in with Apple) is introduced, it will only be used to link your data between devices and will not grant access to any health metrics or personal information.

4. User Rights and Data Deletion
You have full control over your data.
At any time, you can:
  • Delete all app data instantly by uninstalling Pulse Tracker
  • Revoke HealthKit permissions in your device’s Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices
No data remains after these actions are completed.

5. Future Data Use
Currently, Pulse Tracker processes your health data only on your device for the purpose of displaying insights and analytics.
In the future, anonymized data may be used to:
  • Improve app features and personalized recommendations
  • Develop general health trend insights
If any future update changes how your data is used, you will be clearly notified within the app and can choose to opt out or delete all data before continuing.

6. Global Privacy Compliance
Pulse Tracker complies with international privacy standards, including:
  • GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation – EU)
  • CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act – USA)
Because we do not collect, store, or transmit personal data, users retain complete control of their information at all times.

7. Data Security
Although Pulse Tracker does not upload or store your data externally, we still employ industry-standard security practices to protect any temporary diagnostic information.
All processing is done locally on your device using secure frameworks provided by Apple’s HealthKit.

Your data remains fully private, encrypted, and under your control.

8. No Sharing of Personal Information
Pulse Tracker does not share, sell, or transfer your information to any third parties — ever.
Your health and privacy are never compromised.
